Bright Realty's Castle Hills Village Shops in the master-planned Castle Hills community in Lewisville continues to be an in-demand retail location for notable restaurateurs and food enthusiasts. Among its most recent additions is The London Baker, a world-class bakery run by celebrity baker Elizabeth Rowe. Rowe gained fame on the Food Network's "Cake Wars" and her Castle Hills Village Shops location is featured in the new Food Network series, "Dallas Cakes." In addition to elaborate cakes, the bakery features made-from-scratch treats such as pastries, deep-dish cookies, brownies, crumpets and scones, which are sure to invite regular customers, and increase traffic, to the Village Shops.

The Village Shops is also welcoming two new eateries in the coming months. Ramen, Izakaya Akira will feature ramen, sake and other Japanese dishes, and The Grind, "a world class neighborhood burger joint," will serve craft burgers and beer.

These new eateries join a variety of unique Village Shops destinations including TKO Libations, a craft brewery; PI.E 3.14 Everyday Eatery, which specializes in signature pizzas such as the Pollo en Fuego, a mix of hot sauce-glazed chicken, cilantro and cheeses; The Salty Cow, a purveyor of artisan cheeses and meats; T.B.D. Kitchen, known for both its street tacos and its "posh" tacos; Kanzi Sushi & Hibachi, which serves a variety of fresh sushi options; Z's Wok, known for Chinese specialties such as jalapeño chicken and spicy orange chicken; and Sophia's Kitchen, specializing in seasonal coffees, teas and pastries. The area's top food trucks also make appearances at the Village Shops during the many events hosted at the site.

A significant draw for these restauranteurs is the Village Shops' reliable customer base. The retail location anchors Bright Realty's Castle Hills community, a 2,900-acre master-planned community with more than 15,000 residents. That customer base continues to expand with an ever-increasing number of new single-family homes, detached luxury golf villas, condominiums, townhomes and estate homes priced from the $180s to $2.5 million and up. Those numbers will grow significantly with the opening of Bright Realty's The Realm at Castle Hills, a mixed-use development under construction at SH 121/Sam Rayburn Tollway and just east of Castle Hills Drive. The Castle Hills location, with easy access from SH 121/Sam Rayburn Tollway at Josey, the Dallas North Tollway and I-35, makes the Village Shops a convenient location for Metroplex restaurant-goers at large.

Restaurant tenants also benefit from ongoing marketing, social media and public relations promotion provided by Bright Realty. Outdoor events are scheduled throughout the year at the Village Shops, including the upcoming 4th Annual Castle Hills Spring Concert Series which will draw thousands to the location.

"The Village Shops' prime location in Castle Hills is definitely a factor when tenants are deciding where to locate a business," said Lucas Patterson, Bright Realty executive vice president. "Tenants know they will be working with customers in a high-end community from the outset and that Bright Realty does an excellent job of drawing new people in."
