Eric Stanley, Bright Realty president and COO, has been tapped to return as a featured panelist at Bisnow's "Road to Riches: The 121 Corridor" forum. The event will feature the area's most knowledgeable developers, owners, investors and government officials addressing the continued growth and prosperity along State Highway 121. The event takes place Thursday, August 23, at the Sheraton McKinney Hotel.
Stanley returns as a panel expert because of Bright Realty's significant presence in the area as developer of Castle Hills. The master planned community has grown to include more than 4,500 single-family homes, hundreds of luxury apartment homes and has broken ground on The Realm at Castle Hills, a 324-acre, mixed-use, lifestyle destination that includes office, dining, retail, entertainment and multi-family. The Realm is located just west of State Highway 121/Sam Rayburn Tollway and Josey Lane, in the heart of what developers have referred to as the "Blue Diamond Corridor."
The "Road to Riches" panel will address where developers and investors see room for opportunity in the already-populated 121 corridor, how Grandscape will affect the area when it goes live, topics like the rise of master-planned communities in the area and the expansion of multi-family developments in residential suburbs. Featured presenters in addition to Stanley include McKinney's mayor pro tem, officials from DFW International Airport, Allen Economic Development Corporation and the North Texas Tollway Authority, as well as developers such as David Craig of Craig Ranch. More than 400 professionals attended last year's 121 corridor growth event.
"The 121 corridor is a hotbed for development and Bright Realty has been integral in the planned growth of this area for decades," said Stanley. "The region is home to some of the top employers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and with the employment and population growth rate in Dallas-Fort Worth at a consistent incline, the area will continue to require housing, retail and entertainment to those living and working in the area."
