ALDI, the German-based grocery chain opening hundreds of stores across the U.S., broke ground in September on its newest North Texas location. The grocer chose Bright Realtys 12.99-acre development on the southeast corner of Josey Lane and Windhaven Parkway for its Lewisville location. ALDIs 17,005-square-foot grocery store will open in May 2018 and will anchor the retail centers corner site, which also offers a Dream Wash Auto Spa, Caliber Collision, Honest-1 Auto Care and a CubeSmart self-storage.
ALDI, which is known for its no frills concept as well as local produce and private labels, will be situated between several upscale multi-family developments, including Bright Realtys Discovery at The Realm, so that corner generates a lot of traffic, said Tim McNutt, vice president. Its location near State Highway 121 and single family communities, like Castle Hills, is also ideal for a grocery store and other neighborhood conveniences.
Bright Realty is currently offering two remaining pad sites at the grocery-anchored corner. One is 47,757 square feet; the other is 57,980 square feet. In addition, Bright Realty has available properties to the north, east and west of ALDI, located on the southeast quadrant of Parker Road and Old Denton; the southwest corner of State Highway 121 and Castle Hills Drive; the southeast quadrant of Parker and Windhaven; and the northwest corner of State Highway 121 and Legacy.
For information about available properties at or near the ALDI-anchored property, which has a daytime population of 223,791 within its five-mile radius, contact Tim McNutt or Britton Lankford at 972-410-6600.
